All of our surgeons are board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. They have taught courses to other doctors at major national and international meetings of ophthalmologists as well as serving on the teaching faculty at various medical schools. Our surgeons are fellowship-trained, having completed extensive training as eye surgery specialists.

Dedicated Surgery Centers

Tampa Eye and Specialty Surgery Center has been awarded the certificate of accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). The award means our surgery center has met nationally recognized standards for quality care. In order to achieve accreditation, Tampa Eye and Specialty Surgery Center underwent an extensive on-site survey of its facilities and services. The survey team, composed of physicians, nurses and administrators evaluated all aspects of patient care.

The Tampa Eye Laser Center is specially designed for laser vision correction. The laser center is constantly monitored to maintain strict humidity and temperature levels, which are imperative for the equipment to work properly.
